Oh la di da! Apologies if these INSPIRATIONAL quotes have scare you off. I know I'm not even close to twenty-four but it's just so freakingly relatable when I'm in my 'late nineteen' you know. So, right after finishing One Day by David Nicholls I was gob smacked by both the book and movie's ability to crash souls and its intimacy as if inside you have Dex and Em with you, all along. I bet everybody agrees if you have read the book. And this is the cue for you: Do not miss this book. READ IT! It's about a love story; it's a heavy lesson; it's about how-you-wasted-years-and-realized-she's-the-one-and-you-think-you're-so-stupid-for-not-realizing-that; it's real life. And warning, sadness will linger with you the whole day once you finish it. (This is supposed to be encouraging ughh)

Tuesday, the book tore me close to tears with its eerily beautiful and sad and compelling paragraph of love, friendship, time and tragedy. The tragedy which made me realized "whatever happens tomorrow, we had today" and always live your life to the fullest like today is your last. Though it just isn't fair to make the readers cry. I even find myself couldn't bear to continue on with the story after Part Four tragedy. *Puss-big-eyes-stare-meme here** Then I finally rewarded myself with the movie adaptation and this time I was really, really, really, really, emotionally wrecked.

 A leap from 2011 to 2012. A change in numbers and we are still in the same kingdom, fighting for the same dream. If 'we' isn't applicable (psst i know that sentence is so miserable), fine, I am. I am still the same old me with the same goal and hope: I simply want to pass my years ahead steadily and healthily. And put that %^$&*%$# contact lens into my eye balls without closing my eyelids. And start working my ass out by clearing all the rubbish on my table. And moves away from the shallow side such as stop appreciating abs on the wrong bodeh. And study consistently like what i'll always do during the beginning of a semester but err, not at the end. Consistency! And do less last minute tasks will you. And blog-wise, i'll try to be a-a-ahem mature blogger which do not use words like 'ass' and  '%^$&*%$#' in her blog and i'll I'll try to start every sentence with a capital in 2012. And...

I'm not asking much.

I wanna do more artwork. I wanna move from sketches to actual sketches with colours. This will gimme more space of imagination and fun and accomplishment you know. Hey maybe one day i'll even make the clothes out from sketches #likeaboss who knows. All i want is to live on my passion before it burns off.

I wanna read more. This explains why I keep buying books. Believe me, I really am trying to finish a book before starting a new one but the temptation is always so hard to resist. Why you so mean new books! Oh btw, guess what I'm reading now. beep beep. I've added another book in my reading pile and what makes it so different is, it's an unabridged classic! and surprisingly, i'm actually enjoying it: A Tale of Two Cities by Charles Dickens. Love the historical setting and characters. i hope this will stop me from buying another new book again before finishing it.

And speaking of which, I need to start saving. You see i've kinda run out of money ever since this trip and those outings and the books and clothes and dresses and woah, i really need to start saving. I really spent a lot this year. And to save, I must eat wisely ;)

teehee, better! I'll eat less outside food and cook more. err that is if I can cook. If is a strong word, and i know i can cook, can't i? so. i'll be looking forward to a healthy lifestyle (that means more workout) although i'm taking a break around the holidays teehee. we'll see all this in uni.

I would like to see Taylor on stage one day sigh. 

Anyway. Congratulation on the hours that brought us to the first page of a new year. These bunch of words exist in order to kick start my solemn year because for gahd sake, i am an old lady touching 20 soon! sobs* let's mourn.

Nah. just joking, 2012, i'll be counting on you for a great year so please be good. In fact, you can count these words as my short-new-year-resolution-that-I-do-not-want-to-write-but-somehow-I-had-written-it-long-in-this-bunch-of-words. hmm hmm, i mean. Today is the first blank page of a 365 page book and I'll make sure I'll write a good one phew. ok, this is a better ending for my first post of the year. so, yeah. TEEHEE.

i find holidays come and go so dang fast, it's like i just started my holiday this week and kaboom, it's already new year's eve already!? come on, still so many tasks to be done but nothing is really done. shrug, i mean completely done.

anyway. i've finally got my tickets! I mean the FTI tickets which i mentioned in my previous post omgeeeee :D so so dang excited. not to mention my dear deary friend foreseen herself ahem, i mean us meeting these gorgeous directly, well, in her dream. ANYWAY. that means something right? i mean like a hint or a hunch or some message send by O'Lord Creator himself right?  of course. of coursefinitely (read this, ha!) we are so going to bump into them like how it happens in a movie. All i need to do is follow the following steps to follow my faithollow and hahhhhh~ (that's a sigh you sweetheart) like Taylor said, they'll come back to me like this is a movie ;)

errr, this is going no where. sorry for the weird weird terms and spelling i've been trying to avoid to use. just couldn't help it since i'm so creative and carried away, i admit haha. but she did dream about that, i swear. and it's still a fifty fifty in bumping into them right, right?

awkward. OK. Did i tell you that i'm, as a matter of fact, not really MIA for the past few weeks? In fact, I was umm, what do you call that? oh, out and about in Penang and some S'pore and yeah, mostly M'sia. no i'm not lazying around, i'm actually you know, doing meaningful stuff in meaningful ways. For example, i was, correction, still am, bonding with every beloveds one around me. yeah, that beloved term refers to you, too, since, i've finally post this post after a long long time and after brushing off a lot of drafts in the dark. wink, my little contribution to make you feel touchy touchy. that means, touched fyi. ok besides, i did spend time reading up my book pile. ugh my books keep coming 'cause i keep buying and eventually i keep piling them. Uhmm next. my quality time with dramas and pc games should not be forget too. through them, i learned plenty of stuff, like... yeah, a lot of stuff in handling crime and justice in the umm... court. and also how to kill or revenge on somebody with brilliant strategics. yeah, cool huh...
ANYWAY.

It's pretty organized, amazingly beautiful and fast paced and oh! Clean. Stereotypes are applicable after all. anyway my point is, thanks to this trip that i'm not regretting at all, my bank accounts are, sigh, let's just say not looking good :( But, i really treasured the times we had together as a trio doing stuff we'll never ever do in our hometown. I now declare this parents-less vacation as a success. oh yeah!

and btw, this book is awesome. if you're bother to read Who's That Girl (link), that will explain my recent writing style. so informal pssssshhh, which is a bad thing of course. but anyway, this book just relive my dream. It tells me to hold on to my dream and don't give a damn to what people says or thinks or, you know, Who Says right? Nobody should judge you on who you are. The below sentence summarize the whole story, in a way. (Yelp, sorry Alexandra Potter...)

in case you're wondering, i'm still pretty alive (typical MunSTeR opening, i know i know). so, let's stress on the word pretty, and at the same time: ignoring the fact that the uncooperative pimples are popping out everywhere on my face and it's been exactly a month. :( so, what's up everybody? uni's got me for awhile now, throwing assignments, tutorials and reports at me like how u make a line in tetris battle and the next moment you're handling another line combination. Tetris battle is a facebook application which, according to seniors, all curtin engineering students are playing, fyi. out of the point, you're welcome to pk me, i'm waiting! ;) ok my point is, ugh, this tetris thingy is a total infection, you just can't get over it and you'll keep coming back for more. big fat sigh. this is bad. don't be like me. wait, what i'm trying to said is not this. i'm just trying to tell you i'm going back home soooon. *excited* on November 13th. ok, message delivered.

i've finally got my hands on Captain America! but that's not what i wanna talk about. 

we are already nineteen. sooner or later or 'it already happened', i dunno, but one day we'll leave our safe territory and beloveds in order to chase our dreams. to put it crudely, it's all about getting a life. a life with how you want it to be and whom you want it to be with, one day. us, being in different unis, maneuvering utterly different lives on a far away yet familiar land and inevitably straying further and further from my world... ahhh i can't stand this emo part!!!

but, i'm happy. i'm happy for you. i'm beyond words to describe what i felt when i know you're doing fine too. thanks to technology and social networks of course. there are times that i do miss you. there are times that i felt a tinge of jealousy over how well you can do without me. but it's ok, i'll get over it soon. as long as you are living the time of your life and most importantly, you're happy :) ← super emo ugh, too much Adele!

you know what, this freaking scenario is actually happening to me at. this. moment. FML. i've been laying on the bed with my eyes shut for the past 20 mins but Mr. Zhou still refuses to date me hmph. so as you can imagine with your very imaginative brain cell and a little bit of humour, i'm having a sleepless night. and scary night. and stary night. and oh, happy halloween peeps! btw, did i mention i just witnessed a scarily scary event? you have no idea.

And now all I wanna see

...is getting rid of this frightful incident off my chest. and me laying on the bed in a few minutes time. and i shall see notes and calculator on my table tomorrow 'cause i'm so gonna focus like for real. no more novels, no more nap at odd timing, no more green tea latte (geesh), no more eating snack at midnight, no more blogging for this month (it's already the last day of the month anyway heh), no more tetris procrastinating and last but not least, no more outing! yeah, that would be all i wanna see, i'm not that greedy obviously.
