And oh oh oh! Thanks to the perfect casting, I got to know this sexy angel, Jim Sturgess. I know, a very new name right? I don't know him either, not before watching the movie anyway. Okay where was I, oh, ahem. I'll try to sound mature and sensible this time for this gorgeous guy sake so. He is charming and cute and devilish and nerdy and an actor! He's the perfect Dex, I mean he's exactly the same as I imagined him to be when I was reading the book. Great imagination i know i know. But err, that probably is because I saw him in the posters or somewhere from the web before hand. Probably.

and just in case you're wondering why am i so free, for which i intentionally bold the sentence on the 1st line on top, the reasons are:
1.  everybody is busy with school.
2. grads like me are starting their new semester, though i'm still on the same spot.
3. i haven't start hunting job yet. in process. soon.
4. i'm jobless.

ok, i can't think of anything else right now, so that's it for my essay of reasons. sorry, i just can't help it.

since i've mentioned half, might as well spill everything out. so, i'll sacrifice a little and share what i do at home. here's my edited edition of virtual daily journal, for which it doesn't comes in a journal format at all.

Any Weekdays, pick one
1200 - wake up, change, and sit in front of the computer/tv.
1400 - sis and dad come back from school, have oat meal brunch (because they forget to 'tapao' for me).
1430 - sit in front of the computer/tv.
1800 - helping in the kitchen.
1930 - dinner then sit in front of computer/tv.
2200 - lying on top of the bed, in front of laptop.
unknown - time varies. go to sleep.

interesting right? i know.

okay, so i'm officially leaving behind the dark and MATURE aura that had been lurking around since the last 2 posts. of course this is not normal at all. but i just can't help it at that time. anyway, i just realized that some of you are like, suddenly very worry about me, which made me worry along too. puhlease, again, i'm alright. still breathing and smiling. and very touched.

did you realize how often i use 'so' sooooo much that it hurts not to start a sentence with 'so'?
oh and also the word 'anyway'. and 'ok/okay'.

and not forgetting the way they don't carry sense all the time.

anyway, i've been wanting to intro this amazing author since i'm so helpless over her enchanting story thanks to Monday ;)

i think the following is the-so-called book review.
ok, i admit i'm a cover judge but hey, the story inside does give the cover justice after all. Though, i find the story quite extraordinary. Like, the protagonist, Cassie is 18 year old and pregnant because of the Polar Bear King. And the fact that she can travel from north to the world end in order to save her husband aka Polar Bear King when she is pregnant. A young woman marries a talking bear to be precise. (of course i'm not complaining am i? sorry i just can't help it.) beside all these, i'll say the book is simply magical and breathtaking. Sarah Beth Durst did a great job. She captures the scenes and characters vividly such that i thought i've been there. This may be her 1st book i read but i know there will be more because i just can't help but fall in love with her brilliant adventures. thumbs up!

btw, the moon is so beautiful tonight. it's a full moon. suddenly i just feel like singing though, my sis is snoring beside my bed. but, sorry, i just can't help it.

It She's a beautiful author alright. She's smart, witty and brilliant. However she's very shy with her work. She does not want people to read her story. She even went to the extent of threatening me hgh. Anyway i'm not breaking promise or anything (since i'm not showing the story), so note that missy.

I watched a lot of films. And what I mean in 'a lot' is really a lot. Film genres from action to comedy, from horror to romance and sci-fi, I never missed any of these. Not even the crossovers. That's why I started to know which is a bad film and which is a watch-able film and which is a marvelous film after all these years ( to be exact, it's 6 years. Not too short and not too long).

Now, I seldom find movies so touching that it makes me wanna cry. ok fine, it's my problem, but can you please hang on.. This time, I found them...and they are films adapted from very, very, very successful books. Oh, and it's not Twilight, sorry. It's something much, much better than this.

The Time Traveler's Wife

Okay, I admit: I didn't read the book. I only heard about the movie plus the book this year. It was already very popular (since the book was published in 2003) i.e. even before the film was out. Well, it does make sense, or else why is the story brought on screen?

Maybe some monster is slightly out-dated. But that's not the point. The point is, this is a science and romance fiction, which may look boring to you at the beginning but when you continue on, you won't be able to get your butt off the sofa. Point taken?


The movie is about Eric BanaHenry DeTamble with a genetic disorder that causes him to time travel unpredictably and randomly and his wife, the beautiful Rachel McAdams Clare who has to cope with his frequent absences and dangerous experiences when he time travels.

The sci-fi part is: when saying time traveling, this film's time-traveling is very different. The time traveler vanishes at inordinately frequent and lengthy intervals, and he has no control over the destination and time of his traveling. And oh, it doesn't involve any machine. Cool isn't it?

And the romantic part is: The time traveler time travels to visit young Clare, and end up completely naked when he arrives at his destination(pro con of time traveling. You see, time travel can only travel the body) But he don't know when he is visiting her. So, he read the present-day Clare's diary to get a list of dates he visited her, so that she can be waiting for him with clothes. Aww, isn't this sweet~ They are destined to be together. And young Clare is jealous of her older-self when she knows that Henry is married. Can you believe that?!

Clare has been in love with Henry her entire life. She believes they are destined to be together, even though she never knows when they will be separated: Henry is a time traveler--cursed with a rare genetic anomaly that causes him to live his life on a shifting time line, skipping back and forth through his lifespan with no control. Despite the fact that Henry's travels force them apart with no warning, Clare desperately tries to build a life with her one true love.



My Sister's Keeper


For book lovers, you surely have heard of this novel: My Sister's Keeper a 2004 novel written by Jodi Picoult. At 2 years back, I happened to be flipping through the pages once . And it bored me with those attorney thingy.

That's sad. For me of course.

So, I can't tell you much about the book, but the movie - it's superbly great!
I can almost relate to the movie, minus the leukemia part. The film tells the story of a family's struggle to cope with a serious disease(leukemia) of one of its members while presenting viewpoints from each family member.

This 13-year-old Anna, who sues her parents for medical emancipation when she is expected to donate a kidney to her sister Kate, who is dying from leukemia.



Oh, did I mention the mother IS Cameron Diaz? No. Ok, she's (finally) taking up the role of a mother, and it's excellent. It suits her just fine.
