She's running through a beautiful field. Everywhere she turns she sees flourishing green that makes her feels alive. The sun is shining and the wind delivers a cool breeze. Birds are singing as they fly gracefully overhead. Like someone is playing a relaxing piano piece and nature harmonizes perfectly with it. And there she is, laying comfortably on the grass. She's reading a delicately written memoir that corresponds in tune even though the authors and artists are so far far away. Strange. The letters and drawings made her smile. Not cry. She carefully takes out her bag of gummy bears and chew. A symphony accords. Whatever that means. 

OK, that's it for the somehow dramatic part. i find it so hard to continue writing with that tone. so before i get carried away, yeah my nineteenth birthday is over. No cake, no celebration, no blowing candles this time. so sad and lonely right? But yet i'm happy. happy about the fact that i have such amazing friends and family willing to give me their support and love. i mean pre-giving. I'll just pretend the gatherings, foods and gifts are for my birthday instead of farewell ok? ;) since i'm writing about my birthday you know. hmmm. 

and i'm just dang lucky to have you.

the thing is, i've been wanting to post all these up on , but... i'm pretty much occupied with random stuff, so, yeah, sorry for letting you wait. Fyi, 20th is still a big day to me. Thank you. You make it special. and of course i played a larger role somewhere in the middle but bleeeeeeeeeagh, i'm grateful. let that be stated, for the record ;)

and apparently, i'm ten days late. but still.... 

Been really busy with work these past 3 weeks. 

ok, actually its just another excuse for me to avoid blogging. Where's my blogging mojo again? Anyway, speaking of which, life in Dell is pretty amazing. Or maybe, you can say that i'm very lucky to have a great manager and being part of a fantastic team. Everyday, i feel myself growing up and becoming more mature. And day by day, i'm learning more and more from the adult world(how to camouflage in particular). They say i'm gina aka kids, which is right(in a way) . They say my hokkien is 'unique' and i think they're being extremely kind. They say taking me out for lunch is very bo tat aka unrewarding(?) because i'm not very helpful when it comes to food. And all those times i'm like 囧.... 

why do adults tease good people like me?
i'm not saying this is bad. i love and appreciate what i have now. and so, as you can see, my working environment is not really in a serious tone. in fact, it doesn't give me an i-am-working-feel but oh-this-is-so-flexible-aura. after all, Dell is a very Americanize company. Let's see, you can wear casual to the office; and if your work starts at 8.30am you can come at 8.45am, sure no problem; and although lunch time is at 12, people go out at 11.30am and can come back at 1 to 1.30pm. but of course you still need to work your ass off if you can't finish whatever job you're given that day, so, fair.

For me, i respect all the fellow accountants there. i mean, look at them, they're like super genius and they lurve working overtime, though they kept telling me that their job is free and easy. Right. Maybe. anyway, my point is, i totally admire them. especially how they always involve clueless me into the meetings and conferences and bla bla bla. At times, they really are intimidating but most of the time they're just friendly and funny and friendly. and friendly. they make me feel i belong.

in short, i, sincerely, from the bottom of my heart sipek treasure every second i've in Dell. Because, in 3 more months, i'll be going somewhere else to practice cannibalism. Wuwuwuwuwuuuu this is tragic. please cry me a river somebodeh....

ok fine, i'm exaggerating. Anyway. I am honestly so happy right now, i am smiling and i could cry happy tears. Because, i have finally landed back to the ground. i can feel my feet again. i'm finally, not running away anymore. back then, i have no limit in choices and daydreams, but i know my time does. Right now, i just wanna be content with the chance i'm given. Doubts and fear are still around, but i'm gonna do this. (no, i'm not referring to the job this time)

Anyway. sorry for the dramatic part, i'm just paving way for what to come next. so, brace yourself.

Here's the REAL bomb. 

I'm going to enroll in Curtin Sarawak's fast track Foundation program(half year) and i will be leaving my hometown in July. Right before my birthday wtf. seriously, cry me a river please if you'll miss me when i'm away. Because i will definitely miss you. Each and every one of you. Sobs. but look at the bright side :) at least i still have 3 more months in Penang.

alright, maybe...i've just make this whole scenario worse. sorry, so, is this surprising enough? And oh, did i mention that i'll be staying there for 4 years after Foundation to earn a degree? ok, that would be all. That, would be the real bomb shell.

So, as you may have noticed by now, i've finally given my blog a FASHIONABLE facelift. Yay! now i can sleep peacefully and piece-fully, whatever it means.

oh, please keep your compliments. you make me feel embarrassing only.(wtf?narcissist.) ahem. so as i was saying, this is my first try in doing everything bloggie on my own, and, i must say, i'm quite satisfied with the result.(self-absorbed) well, this project took me a month to finish and turns out designing a custom background is quite tough. you've no idea how many experimental background i'd done and redone and deleted. one thing, the size of the background is kinda like the pain in the ass. even now i can see the flaws of my background. i mean like at the bottom of the screen you'll see a white strip which make me wanna bang my head on the table. (umm, it's still here right? dang!) that white strip is due to my incapability to measure each and every computer out there and fit my background with them. ok, so it's my fault.

as for the header, HAH! that, is challenging. i mean centering the bloody header part. You see, blogger don't have a button for us that says 'center the header' to click(yet). and, when i googled for the solution, most of them out there are not working. so, after 4 hours of sticking my butt on the chair for solution, i've found one which i edited some part to make it work. phew. besides this, designing a custom header made me realized that simple is the new fashion. here, let me show you just a couple of my draft and you'll know what i mean.

so in case you're wondering..umm... about the software i used, it's Adobe Photoshop CS4 Extended. and i got most of the materials from DigiscrapDepot. In this site you'll find loads of DIY stuff for you to play with. Additionally, you'll get heaps of inspiration from this site believe me. Real deal :)

and, just for the record, i did all these just by following instructions. some of the sites that helped me a lot are thecutestblogontheblock and backgroundfairy. Thank you for making everything looks easier. You guys can check it out of course.

Today is WOW! The best day ever. I don't wanna fall asleep and let this day go away.

and so, that explains why i'm in front of the computer right now. At 0138 of 25/12.

To me, today is still 24th of December :)

On this day, Hebe Tian of S.H.E or rather 田馥甄(in chinese) came and signed me an autograph. This is the 2nd time i saw her in person in this year. The 1st time is during the concert. But this time, i get to observe her closer.

She's so PRETTY!
And her VOICE! indescribable. Simply WOW! People really should listen to her live, just once.

So, she made up for the whole shitty process, and made it worth-while and not so indigestible.

Shitty process as in, crammed with at least 500 people for 4 hours and struggling for air to breathe and tip-toed the whole night just to watch her more clearly. And oh, all because i'm tall and the people standing in front of me are very tall. Yessh. i came in first but they have a special ticket that said 'i can stand in front of you'...so there i was. Miserable.

Gaah! Sometimes i wonder, why do tall guys like to stand in front of short average-height person? It's so offensive and annoying.

Anyway. That's how a signing event should be. it's okay. i'm okay :)

Ok, where was i? As i was saying, this christmas eve is really FUN! I eat and eat and eat it away. You see,  i didn't expect myself to be so crazy to arrive in the venue 5 hours ahead and wait for the event to start. And guess how i wait for her. By hanging around in the restaurants. Just for dinner, we went to 3 restaurants. Not to mention how i gave away a fortune just to obtain the entrance tickets. In short, i'm broke.(but it's worthy :) And you must be wondering why am i such a genius to go so early(4pm) when the event was supposed to start at 9pm, right?

Because genius me acknowledged this.

The tickets said 'first come first serve'. Plus, the very scary phrase 'terms and conditions apply' scares me to bits. So, uh-huh.

But anyway, i guess this short sentence doesn't really worked in the real world. Most of us (not me T__T) didn't even bothered about it and came after 10pm and they can still enter. FYI, it's already packed. Seriously, or else wth am i struggling for air? Oh well never mind.

And oh, Hebe is super nice. She will signed for anyone as long as you have her album. That's guaranteed. So, don't worry folks :)

Bought her album, To Hebe 3 months ago. i never thought that i'm gonna get her autograph one day. i'm not a dreamer. BUT. i'll pretend that this is my chrismas present for 2010. From Hebe.Whee!

Time to sleep. i'm not gonna wash my hand 

and i'm so gonna dream a good dream. 

A dream where i'm just a fangirl after all :)
